Insurance & Payment
Questions about insurance and payment are among the most common concerns for patients. We believe you should understand your options before beginning treatment, and we're happy to answer questions about dental benefits, payment, and financing.
While Adams Morgan Family Dentistry is not contracted with dental insurance plans, many patients with PPO dental benefits may still be eligible for reimbursement from their insurance provider.
Our team is happy to submit insurance claims on your behalf and help you understand how your benefits may apply to your treatment.
Oral health Comes First
Our treatment recommendations are based on what is best for your oral health—not simply what an insurance plan may cover. This approach allows Dr. Zuckerberg to spend the time needed to understand your concerns, discuss treatment options, and recommend care based on your individual needs and long-term oral health.
Payment Options
Payment is expected on the day of your visit. For your convenience, we accept:
- Cash
- Visa
- Mastercard
- Discover
- American Express
- Health Savings Accounts (HSA)
- Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
We also accept personal checks from returning patients.
Insurance Claims
As a courtesy, we are happy to submit dental insurance claims on your behalf.
Patients are responsible for any portion of treatment not covered by their insurance plan at the time of their visit. If payment from your insurance company has not been received within 90 days, any remaining balance becomes the responsibility of the patient, and any subsequent reimbursement from the insurance company will be sent directly to you.
